Deletion Process
Follow these steps carefully to permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app.
Open the Roost app on your mobile device.
Log in with your account credentials.
Tap on the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Click on the Settings icon located in the top-left corner.
Scroll down to find the 'Delete Account' action.
Click on 'Delete Account' and confirm by clicking 'Yes, Delete' in the popup.
What Data is Deleted?
Once confirmed, this action is irreversible. The following data will be permanently erased from our systems.
Personal Information
Your name, email address, phone number, and profile details.
Riding Data
Your shared trails, recorded rides, and historical location data.
Community Interactions
Your chat history, group ride participation, and social posts.
Retention Period
Upon request, your data is immediately marked for deletion. It may take up to 30 days for all data to be completely removed from our active databases and backups. We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention), but this data will be anonymized and disconnected from any personal identifier.
